The disruptions of the pandemic have affected nursery schools deeply and school mechanisms have fallen short for addressing pandemic experiences, leaving ‘untapped’ stories silenced. In partnership with one Bristol nursery school community, we explored the embodied and affective experiences of the pandemic through co-produced arts-based methods. We co-produced a public exhibition to showcase our collaborative work and creative products invoking audience participation. This project website documents a living history of these experiences and stories for future generations. The project has far-reaching benefits for the wider early years communities locally and nationally, engaging with current policy debates on early years provision and effects of the pandemic.
